Why should I design flexible assessments?
Planning for student choice and flexibility in your assessments is very engaging and motivating for your students. Giving opportunities for the students to decide how they will demonstrate what they know and can do will give the students more confidence and allow for some creative thinking that makes learning more enjoyable.

Here are some ways you can incorporate student choice into your assessments:
CONTENT
Allow for the students to choose the content they will use to demonstrate their knowledge.
PROCESS
Let the students choose the methods or ways that they complete the project.
PRODUCT
The students can choose what they make or do as a result of the inquiry.
